What is a Bunded Tank ?
A bunded tank is sometimes also described as a double skinned tank. The inner tank holds the fuel, the outer tank protects the inner tank from U.V rays and the cold winters. The outer tank area also acts as a catchment area to contain the oil, if ever the inner tank fails.
I'm not sure what oil tank I need, can you help?
Yes. Please give us a call - we'll ask you a few questions about your property and can then advise you on the best type and size of tank for you. Our advice is friendly and free and without obligation.
How quickly can you deliver and install my new oil tank?
We carry a large range of heating oil tanks in stock. Delivery and installation can normally be carried out within 5 working days.
Is your oil tank and installation work guaranteed?
Yes. All Plastic tanks are covered by industry wide manufacturers warranties. The fittings on the tank come with a 1 year warranty. If we have created a supporting base for your new tank this would come with a 5 year warranty. Installation will be carried out with care by our own OFTEC accredited engineers. In the very unlikely event that a problem arises you can telephone us directly for immediate attention including after office hours.
I have an emergency with a leaking oil tank, what should I do?
Please call our office during weekday working hours, If out of working hours, or at weekends please call David Elvin on 07974 454 904 or 01603 710332 We will advise and try respond to emergencies as quickly as possible.
I am replacing my heating oil tank, do I need to replace it with a Bunded tank?
Bunded tanks are mandatory for all commercial and rental properties when the existing tank is being replaced. If the tank is being replaced in a residential property the tank only has to be bunded if the tank position is within 10mtrs of what is described as controlled water. Interpretation of controlled water is, anywhere where leaking oil from a tank could get into the water system, i.e  streams, ditches dykes open drains etc.
Do you use your own staff to install my new oil tank?
Yes, we only use our own staff, Our engineers all wear company uniform and are all trained, professional and very experienced. All our installation engineers are fully OFTEC accredited. And our installation vehicle's are all sign written for identification.
I need a custom oil tank, can you help?
Yes. We manufacture our own range of high quality steel oil tanks in a range of standard sizes. If you require something a little different we can also manufacture your replacement tank to your own specifications.
I have an emergency with my oil fired boiler, what should I do ?
Our offices are open from 8.15am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Out of hours calls at the weekend are sometimes difficult, however we will always do our best to help. If you have an emergency out of hours please call Simon on 07920 489526 We will do our best to help you.

Many of the more expensive plastic tanks come with a lockable lid. If your tank has not got a lock it is highly recommended that a good quality padlock is purchased.
